Equine Assisted Learning
EAL is a professional field in which horses are used to help facilitate the learning and growth experiences for participants. The focus of our EAL leadership programs involves the use of non-riding activities that demonstrate common workplace scenarios.
The EAL model assists individuals to learn about themselves, others and group dynamics by participating in activities with the horse and then processing patterns and strengths of the group and how these may relate to the workplace setting. Through a collaborative experiential process, participants use experience, reflection, generalization, acquired knowledge and problem solving to facilitate learning.
We welcome the opportunity to design a program specific to your group or organization. Please contact us at info@trinityfarmindiana.com with the subject of Leadership Development.
Journey to Leadership
The focus of the Journey to Leadership EAL (Equine Assisted Learning) program involves the use of non-riding activities with horses. The EAL model assists individuals to learn about themselves, others, and group dynamics by participating in specifically designed activities with the horse. Participants then process behaviors, patterns of behavior and reactions exhibited during these activities and relate them to the workplace. Horses possess many attributes that allow them to provide vast opportunities for metaphorical learning.
